I want to wish everyone a safe and great New Year's. Hopefully, those New Year's resolutions are made true. ;] One of my teachers told me if you want to accomplish a goal, the first step is to write it down.

Here is my first step to a better year.


1. Accomplish a minimum of ten drawings for my portfolio.
- Be creative. Show that I have a creative side and not just a technical, zombie side.
Create a portfolio that will be diverse, memorable and stays true to my character
and personality.

2. Lose weight (Oh, c'mon, it's a tradition by now!).
- Maybe it should be "lose inches." I don't weigh a lot, but I don't look it. Plus, I want
to be able to do a fair amount of push-ups and keep up the running. Change my
eating habits - eat smaller and healthier. Create a time schedule when to exercise
and don't make excuses!

3. Focus.
- Use my time more wisely so I can accomplish my homework sooner. If there is time
to do it at school, do it; don't sit there and be idle and chatty. This should allow
more free time for drawing. :] Get going on those scholarship applications too by
searching harder for the ones you qualify for and filling them out.

4. Spend more time with family.
- Appreciate the time I spend with my parents and dog. They definity deserve more
attention. Be more outgoing with them.


Well, that is my working list. A few more might be added later throughout the year if need be. Last year, I didn't set any goals, but this year I think I'm ready. Plus, I can't believe it... It's amazing... four more months and I will be a senior! Then, I'll be graduating. It feels like it happening so fast; it's welcomed though.
